Celebrating Group Manager Promotions in Our Transportation Division

Chad’s nearly 20 years of transportation engineering experience spans a wide range of municipal and Department of Transportation (DOT) projects, from traffic studies and roadway design to ADA planning, preliminary engineering, and community-focused public involvement. He has a strong track record of evaluating roadway safety, shaping geometric improvements, and developing contract plans that balance technical requirements with the needs of the communities they serve. His depth of knowledge in traffic operations and his collaborative, steady approach make him especially effective in helping clients navigate complex mobility challenges while keeping projects moving forward. Chad will continue to grow this practice area with the same energy, practicality, and authenticity he brings to every project.

With more than 15 years of structural engineering experience, Chandani has led design and plan development for everything from simple culverts to complex, multi‑span bridges in various DOT and Tollway environments. She’s well‑versed in AASHTO LRFD and other major design standards, and her project work spans inspections, rehabilitation strategies, load ratings, and structural design for large‑scale transportation improvements. In her new role, Chandani will lead our Structural Group with a continued focus on innovation, mentorship, and thoughtful project delivery.

John has been with Primera for over a decade and has more than 15 years of civil engineering and construction experience, ranging from fieldwork on major Indiana Department of Transportation and Indiana Toll Road Concession Company projects, to overseeing complex bridge and roadway improvements. His background as an engineer, and his expertise in managing multi‑phase construction, coordinating with railroads, and navigating tight maintenance-of-traffic constraints, gives him a well‑rounded understanding of what it takes to deliver high‑quality projects in the field. As Construction Group Manager, John will continue to guide project teams with the same steady leadership and relationship‑driven approach he’s known for.
