Primera provided consulting services for a large electric utility’s capital improvement programs and process improvement initiatives to improve their distribution system infrastructure. Some of the projects included:
- Created and standardized portfolio and program level performance report templates, trained the organization in their use, and provided post-implementation support
- Designed executive dashboards with predictive indicators for at-a-glance performance reporting
- Developed portfolio risk management practices including risk identification, prioritization, response planning, and monitoring/reporting
- Developed tools for increased transparency around resource requests and resource planning
- Transitioned regionally managed programs to be centrally managed by the program management office and established program governance
- Performed change management to facilitate the transition of responsibilities and trained essential stakeholders for new roles and responsibilities
- Enhanced the project workflow to streamline field activities and increase efficiency
