As the head of business development for the Rocky Mountain region, Anne Stilson-Cope is an expert at connecting with clients and building lasting relationships. Having run her own engineering firm for more than thirty years, she knows firsthand the value of good partnerships and communication. “Having a good relationship with clients not only establishes trust and fosters collaboration, it also leads to better insight into their needs,” she says. Anne’s wide-ranging experience in all aspects of electrical design projects, as well as leading a small firm, make her the perfect fit to foster Primera’s growth into new markets across the Mountain West area of the Country.
Anne studied electrical engineering at the University of Colorado where she stopped 30 hours short of her Bachelor of Science degree in 1993. Before Primera’s acquisition of her firm, she was the President and Owner of Corey Electrical Engineering where she spent 25 years leading the Corey team providing electrical engineering services for corporate and municipal buildings in addition to transportation and airport clientele in the Denver-Metro area.
Outside of work, Anne and her husband own and operate a working cattle ranch where they has lived for the past 35 years. She is passionate about contributing to her community as she supports organizations like Boys and Girls Club and Multiple Sclerosis Foundation. She also sits on the board for University of Colorado at Denver’s Construction Engineering Management Program. To unwind, Anne and her husband compete in ballroom dance competitions.
