Primera is providing ongoing consulting services for a large electric utility’s capital improvement programs and process improvement initiatives to improve their transmission and distribution system infrastructure. Some of the projects to date have included:
- Created and standardized portfolio and program level performance report templates, trained the organization in their use, and provided post-implementation support
- Designed executive dashboards with predictive indicators for at-a-glance performance reporting
- Developed portfolio risk management practices including risk identification, prioritization, response planning, and monitoring/reporting
- Developed tools for increased transparency around resource requests and resource planning
- Improved outage communications processes to increase customer satisfaction and JD Power results
- Improved outage switching operations planning and processes to support a two-fold annual increase in the quantity of switching cycles
