With more than 20 years of experience, Melissa leads Primera’s Business Consulting practice, overseeing program and change management, data analytics, and geographic information services (GIS) for clients across the country. Since joining the firm in 2014, she has been instrumental in building the practice from the ground up, taking the helm in 2024 and guiding its evolution into a more than $5 million division. She also helped deliver and manage a utility Project Management Office (PMO) that supported a five-year capital program valued at $1 billion annually. Over the past two years, Melissa has strengthened our Consulting team’s performance through strategic leadership, increasing annual revenue by 20% to more than $5.4 million while tripling profitability through operational improvements. She has also invested heavily in developing emerging leaders and advancing key initiatives that have positioned Primera for long-term success.
In recognition of her leadership and professional contributions, Melissa was named among 135 leaders on this prestigious list. Crain’s Chicago Business’ Notable Leaders in Accounting, Consulting & Law honors professionals whose work has made a meaningful impact on their organizations, industries, and communities. Beyond her professional accomplishments, Melissa is committed to serving others through community involvement. She recently completed three years on the Board of Directors for Acts on Mission, supporting programs that provide meals to children and families in need, and has been a supporter of The Foster Network, helping foster parents build strong and lasting support systems. Melissa is also a certified Project Management Professional (PMP).
