Rina Vidri leads Primera’s mechanical group with a penchant for ongoing learning and growth. She is always eager to share her skills, knowledge and expertise with younger engineers. With a knack for solving even the toughest technical issues, Rina feels she’s landed in the perfect role. As she explains, “I like to solve problems and take a personal interest in mentoring junior engineers. In my group manager role, I can do both, while ultimately still being able to provide first-rate service to our clients.” Rina’s skills are the result of 25 years of experience leading mechanical projects. Her work includes design, project management, coordination, and quality assurances for all phases of project development – particularly for higher education, healthcare, and institutional evironments.
Rina studied mechanical engineering at the Riga Technical University in Latvia in Eastern Europe, where she earned her bachelor’s degree before coming to the U.S. Ever-focused on learning and growth, she’s progressed in her career from associate engineer to now overseeing the work of over 10 mechanical and plumbing engineers. Rina’s creative thinking and team-building skills are a great match as Primera seeks to offer the same level of expertise and service it’s known for in the Midwest to clients across the United States.
When Rina isn’t buried in mechanical drawings, you’ll find her de-stressing at the gym or busy traveling the world with her husband. With two adult sons, Rina now enjoys spending her time exploring the city, catching all types of shows, and reading.
