Primera’s consulting team was tasked with providing business consulting services for streetlight conversion to LEDs for a major electric utility. Primera continues to provide oversight and management of the data processing for Chicagoland DTD streetlight customers.
Primera developed a comprehensive project management and reporting system for the program. The project included: providing program and change management to achieve billing standards and provide savings to municipal customers; implementing best practices and processes across multiple stakeholders by way of a rigorous review process that identified the accuracy rate and criteria for implementation; submitting, tracking, and reporting of billing updates that have saved municipal customers over $12M and decreased their electrical usage by 25 million watts; and facilitating annual sessions to address lessons learned, identify and implement process improvements, and reinforce changes with stakeholders.
