Elizabeth Odegaard is Primera’s leading project delivery manager responsible for streamlining and continuously improving the Utilities division’s project management and delivery processes. As a group manager, Elizabeth not only manages clients and projects, but also supports her team of project managers by helping them develop their skills and progress their careers. In her role, she is passionate about Primera’s dedication to quality and continuous improvement. “As a leader, I strive for efficiency throughout all our projects. While the focus is to execute deliverables on time and under budget, I also enjoy finding ways to enable our talented staff to constantly perform better,” she explains. Her position at Primera allows her to leverage her electrical engineering background with her project management expertise to ensure that overall performance remains at the highest levels.
Elizabeth earned a Bachelor of Science degree in electrical engineering from Vanderbilt University. Since graduating, she has always been involved in the utility industry starting with a manufacturer of electrical products. She has also worked at large electrical contracting firms where she has managed multi-million-dollar electrical distribution and utilities projects. Her primary focus areas include working on integrated project teams to perform process improvements, estimating, budgeting, scheduling projects and coordination with customers and clients.
When she’s not managing multi-million-dollar projects, Elizabeth takes a much lighter approach to life outside the office. She enjoys being a mom to her four children and being outside as much as possible. As new Colorado residents, Elizabeth and her family are taking their time to explore the state by hiking in the mountains and visiting new restaurants and breweries around town.
