Working For Primera
Our Buildings division is a talented team of experts working together to deliver buildings and systems that perform better. We provide full-service engineering and design services for both new and existing facilities. Ever focused on providing a first-class client experience, our 30-plus-year history includes projects for school, university, healthcare, government, aviation, laboratory, campus, and municipal facilities.
Who You Are
- You have a bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, architecture or a related field and at least five years of experience in construction project management or coordination.
- You have a certification in project management, such as PMP or CAPM, is a plus.
- You have excellent organizational, communication, leadership and problem-solving skills.
- You have proficiency in Microsoft Office, project management software and CAD software.
- You’re able to travel within the district as needed.
What You'll Do
- You’ll work on-site at the Water Management District offices/warehouses.
- You’ll conduct site visits and inspections to verify the quality and safety of the work.
- You’ll be responsible for assigning work orders to district crews, permit applications and tracking.
- You’ll prepare and submit accurate and timely reports and documentation on the status and outcomes of projects.
- You’ll review and update work orders and monitor for completeness.
- You’ll communicate effectively with district crews, foreman, residents, and Alderperson offices.
- You’ll create, maintain, and close out Lead service line work orders.
